On this webpage, you will find a mini report on the work which
is done actually by the developers on APOS. The aim
of this webpage is to give you targeted and from short duration
informations and permits the developers to concentrate
developers on these tasks.
The most information will be given to you as much as possible.
Whereas the APOS project has been restarted « from scrach » (the last APOS' generation was quite advanced : we launched applications like login or terminals without any issues), we must be recode all parts of the OS.
The bootloader has been recoded and is operational. Now, we must develop the Memory Managment Unit
The aim is to have a powerful and operational Memory Managment Unit (MMU) which could be changed to use the swapping system. More precisely we work on the initialization of the physical memory card, the logical memory allocation and the memory data structures to know informations about allocated memory blocks.
